okay so i have a really strong feeling the new magical girl, nagisa momoe, is probably charlotte before she became a witch.

• small stature
• polka dots, same basic color scheme
• little pigtails
• close to mami on the poster
• charlotte’s mother was sickly and had an illness that killed her. nagisa’s hair reminds one of the ‘sickly white haired anime girl’ trope

she also appears really childish and based on charlotte’s barrier referencing sweets (which are often linked to little girls) it isn’t too far off an assumption?

LOOK AT CHARLOTTE, THEN LOOK AT NAGISA’S BANGS. THEY HAVE THE SAME “CLUMP” OF HAIR IN THE CENTER OF THEIR BANGS.

idk i hadn’t thought about it but I noticed

the double tones in the eyes isn’t something characteristic to the art style so hey there might be something to that too
